McCormick Ranch
McCormick Ranch was one of Scottsdale’s first master planned communities
and it consists of 3116 acres with 57 subdivisions. Amenities include
two 18-hole golf courses, more than 25 miles of bicycle paths and many public
tennis courts. There are also seven lakes including two suitable for
sailing and several stocked with fish. Cochise Elementary School is located
on the ranch and many children in McCormick Ranch neighborhoods can walk to
school. The schools are classified as excelling and are part of the Scottsdale
Unified School District.
